Your knowledge, connected.
Three ideas worth keeping:
Stay in the conversation.
Get the core experience right. Build from there.
The same meaning. A natural voice.
Un peu moins de bruit.
Un peu plus de place pour penser.
A little less noise.
A little more room for thought.

Describe an image in chat, or bring one to edit. Both generation and editing run locally.
An OpenAI-compatible local API lets you choose models, manage API keys, and see queued requests.
02LOCAL BY CHOICE
Your models run locally. When a question needs public information, Mokki can search and read the web, too. Answers can draw on both, without sending retrieved private documents to a search engine.
Download the models you need for chat, voice, or images. Once ready, those local tasks work without a connection.
Pick models to suit your work and available memory. Mokki makes compatibility limits clear.
See which model answered. When files or web pages are used, follow citations to check the source.

04A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Mokki supports Apple Silicon (M-series chips) with macOS 14 or later. Intel Macs aren’t supported. Memory and storage requirements vary by model, and Mokki checks compatibility. We recommend 16 GB of memory or more for a wider choice of models.
You need a connection to download models, get updates, and use web tools. Once the relevant models are ready, local chat, document reading, translation, voice, and image tasks can work offline. Information that hasn’t been checked online shouldn’t be treated as current fact.
Documents, recordings, images, and model inference are processed locally. Web searches send public queries to the selected search service, not the private passages retrieved from your library. This website has no chat or document upload endpoint. Read about privacy.
No. Install Mokki, then download the models you want to use. Models can be much larger than the app, so allow extra storage and memory. They’re stored separately from the app itself.
Choose from the compatible models offered in the app, or connect other tools through the local API. Scenario apps support declarative .mokkiapp extensions. Arbitrary third-party scripts and native plugin code are not currently supported.
